How it Works

The process starts when you email me and tell me about the project you would like me to undertake. It is helpful if you can include photos of your project and a list of what materials you have for finishing it.

For example, if you have a sweater for me to finish send me a list of the pieces, what condition they are in, and if you have matching yarn and/or the original pattern it was worked from. Additionally, if you have a deadline by which you want the project back, note that in your initial email.

I will review your project, ask any clarifying questions, and give you a price for my work.

Once we agree on the scope of work and the price, you give me the signed contract, and the project.

If the project does not require further consultation, I will confirm its arrival and give you an estimate of when it will be finished. Depending on how long the project takes I may also send you periodic updates.

When the project is finished I will notify you. At that point you pay balance of the project fee and I ship you the finished project and we both enjoy the results.

Caveats

My workspace is non-smoking, non-perfume using, but does include a dog. Please let me know if you have any allergies or sensitivities so that, together, we can make sure it is safe for you to send your project to me to be finished.

If your project has a monetary value you are responsible for ensuring that it is properly insured against loss or damage. I will do everything in my power to take good care of it while it is in my possession; however, if something catastrophic happens to me or my workspace, the only thing I or my representatives will be able to to is refund your full project fee.

You are responsible for telling me what financial value you put on the project so I can make sure it is properly insured with the shipper when I mail it back to you.

You understand that there are risks in sending projects out to be worked on and agree that damage or loss of the project by people or companies outside of my control is not my responsibility.
